K Series Combos: These Combos are the same Pump/Motor group found in our K Steel series. Built specifically for our market, this series features: Comet Premium Pump - Hollow Shaft Electric Motor - Well positioned On/Off Switch - External Unloader - Total Stop c/ w Time Delay Ideal for special mounting applications. About the motor: The electric motor is a hollow shaft style. To overcome the common problem of “melting/welding” , Comet has developed a sinterized bush between the pump and motor shaft that grants a perfect coupling. In case of abuse of the on/off of the motor the shafts will break or damage the bush but not the shafts!! The motor is a special development of Comet in terms of performances and power. With 240V controls (pressure switches etc).
