were smartly attired in after-5 attire, befitting the occasion in recognition of the chapter’s 100 years of service to the Metro Atlanta area. Attendees enjoyed fine food and music while surrounded by some of the leading performance vehicles in the industry. General Manager of Bentley Atlanta, Greg Mabry (Theta Upsilon 2000), served as the affair’s keynote speaker. CENTENNIAL WEEK The chapter held a series of events during the week of February 16-24, 2024, leading up to the charter anniversary. It began on February 16th with community service at Booker T. Washington, the first African American High School in the state of Georgia. Iconic songstress Lena Horne and Civil Rights leader Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. are products of this institution. Atlanta Alumni brothers welcomed the students on their first day back to school after the Christmas break. The chapter and the school celebrated their mutual century-long anniversaries. Atlanta Alumni members gathered at Atlanta City Hall on February 19th, where Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens (Lambda Delta 1996) declared that day as ‘Atlanta Alumni Chapter Day’ in commemoration of its 100th anniver- sary and the service provided to the city over those years. The Fulton County commission- ers, led by fellow AACmember and District 5 Commissioner Marvin Arrington, Jr. (Eta Sigma 1991),
issued a proclamation to AAC on behalf of the Fulton County
