family said in a tribute. Ernest Harris Brown was born on July 10, 1953, in Tifton, GA. When he was six months old, his family moved from Georgia to North Philadelphia. Brown and his family eventually relocated to the West Oak Lane neighborhood in northwest Philadelphia in 1966. Brown attended Philadelphia public schools and graduated from Mur- rell Dobbins High School in 1971, where he ran cross country and participated in fencing. After high school, he attended Wilberforce University before transfer- ring to the University of Fraternity roles held by Brown: • Member, Northeastern Province Board of Directors • Member, Laurel Wreath Commission • Chapter Advisor, Delta Eta Chapter • Member, Northeastern Province Committee of Chapter Advisors • Vice Chairman, National Planning Committee • Assistant to the Director of Operational Effectiveness • Recipient, the Northeastern Province’s James M. Kidd Award
