“ BROWN HAS BEEN AN INDEFATIGABLE WORKER FOR THE FRATERNITY FOR MANY YEARS, HAVING SERVED AT THE LOCAL LEVEL IN PHILADELPHIA, WITHIN THE NORTHEASTERN PROVINCE, AND IN POSITIONS OF LEADERSHIP NATIONALLY.” - Kappa Alpha Psi Journal, Fall 2014 issue

“Ernest was instrumental in establishing an onboard- ing process for new IHQ employees. This process played a critical role in helping IHQ staff become familiar with their role, culture, and policies, while also ensuring they feel welcomed, understand their responsibilities, and can contribute effectively. He established staff performance evaluations to provide employees with feedback, identify areas for employee development, set performance stan- dards and goals, recognize job-related accomplish- ments, and enhance communications. He recognized hard work. He would acknowl- edge both large and small achievements, celebrat- ing team and individual successes, especially those involving Membership Intake and Grand Chapter Meetings. His actions fostered a sense of appreciation and encouraged engagement among our IHQ staff. ‘A thank you’ was his way of showing his apprecia- tion for the staff’s efforts.”
