In Loving Memory
We remain saddened by the loss of two esteemed Titans and dear friends, Robert West, and Bernabe Valle-Leanos affectionately known as "Bernie”, who courageously battled cancer. Both veterans in the geosynthetics industry, Robert and Bernie, left behind a legacy that will forever be etched in our hearts. Robert's journey led him to join Titan USA in 2017 as our first Sales Representative in the Houston area. He had a way of brightening our days with his humor, wit, and positive outlook. He stood out for his unwavering generosity and passion for his work, traits that will never cease to inspire us. His instrumental role in establishing and shaping our geosynthetics fabrication facility was nothing short of legendary. In honor of his contributions and to commemorate his indelible mark on Titan, this Spring our new facility in Houston was named in his memory. Bernie joined Titan USA in May 2022 as a Field Supervisor having both working and personal relationships with fellow colleagues spanning two decades, from when he first began working in the geosynthetics industry as a liner technician. Bernie's exceptional skills earned him high recommendations, making him an integral part of our Titan family. His enthusiasm and determination led to his appointment as a Superintendent with our construction team, where he worked diligently until he was diagnosed with brain cancer later in 2022. Bernie faced his illness with remarkable courage and bravery. Though his time with Titan was brief, we express our gratitude for his dedication. As 2023 closes, we reflect on the profound impact that both, Robert and Bernie, had on our lives and business. Their spirits will forever live on in the very foundations of Titan, and we are grateful for the privilege of having known and worked alongside such exceptional individuals.
