PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
Covering Ground
We completed a pre-deign and installation of a geosynthetic leak detection liner system for the floor of liquid storage tank. The system was specifically tailored for hydrocarbon liquids, allowing for convenient retesting even after cover materials are in place. The solution consisted of 139,930ft² (13,000m²) of non-woven geotextile, topped with 69,965ft² (6,500m²) of smooth LLDPE Leak Location Liner. Selected for its flexibility, resilience to low temperatures, and UV resistance, this liner exemplifies durability, strength, and cost-effectiveness, making it an ideal choice for this tank base project. Our successful execution of this project and commitment to delivering quality and efficient turn-key solutions not only met but surpassed expectations, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project.
Weathering the Storm
When a contractor reached out to Titan for assistance with a stormwater project, our engineering and technical team quickly stepped up to provide a design with the most suitable solution. The StormTank® modular system stood out for its ability to achieve the desired stormwater management goals while utilizing less material than alternate options. Particularly noteworthy was its capability to handle all Ministry of Transport storm events, including the stringent requirements of a 100-year storm. With water infiltration management as a primary design feature, the system not only met but exceeded volume requirements, with a capacity of 46,765gal (212.60m3). Additionally, the incorporation of Debris Rows proved beneficial, delivering an exceptional 95% Total Suspended Solids (TSS) removal efficiency.
