Have players randomly write prefixes from the Prefixes Chart in each box of the Bingo Card, repeating prefixes as needed to fill the card. Check that all Bingo cards are filled in. Goal Put together prefixes and base words or word parts to create new words and be the first player to get Bingo. How to Play the Game 1. To begin, the leader chooses a word from the Bingo Word List and reads it aloud. 2. Players point to a prefix on their Bingo Card and combine the prefix and the base word or word part to make a word. Then they say the word and write it under the prefix to mark that square of their Bingo Card. 3. As soon as one player has created real words in every space of his or her Bingo Card, the player shouts, “Bingo!” Players should read their words correctly in order to win the round.
