What does it mean to have hope, or to be hopeful? Open the discussion to the group. Guide campers to understand that having hope means feeling optimistic, or positive, about the future. When we have hope, we believe that things will turn out okay. How might being hopeful help us when we face challenges or have problems to solve? Invite campers to share their thinking. Capture their ideas on your Strengths Board or on chart paper. Wrap up with a song or the LitCamp cheer.
