OPENING CAMPFIRE 15 MIN Welcome campers and greet them by name. Introduce the focus strength and prepare the group for the day’s lesson. Today, we’re going to think about belonging. Belonging means feeling welcome and accepted as part of a family, group of friends, or community. Turn and tell a partner about where you feel a sense of belonging and what makes you feel that way. Give campers time to discuss, then open the discussion to the group. Capture campers’ ideas on your Strengths Board. Campers, you are all valued members of the LitCamp community. Let’s do our best to help everyone around us feel accepted and valued in our community. Wrap up with a song or the LitCamp cheer.
