OPENING CAMPFIRE 15 MIN Welcome campers and greet them by name. Introduce the focus strength and prepare the group for the day’s lesson. Campers, let’s talk about kindness. What does being kind mean to you?

Open the discussion to the group. Invite campers to share ways they can show kindness to others. As they share ideas, capture them on your Strengths Board or a large piece of paper. When we are kind to others, we understand, accept, and embrace them for who they are. Let’s be kind to one another at LitCamp and at home today and every day. Wrap up with a song or the LitCamp cheer.
