Welcome to our 12 th Annual Family Values event. We hope you can be with us in person on our new sale date, November 17 th to enjoy good cattle, good food and good friends. If you can’t be here on sale -day, please take advantage of our website and DVAuction for information and videos. We’d also encourage you to reach out for a personal visit or call to discuss the cattle. As always, we’d like to first thank you, our customers and friends for your continued support! We are so appreciative and hu mbled by the growing interest that our cattle and program continue to receive and by the positive feedback that we are getting as our genetics are being sampled and tested across the country. In addition to our always strong bull lineup, we have significantly expanded the female roster in this year’s sale with more fall pairs and spring bred females than ever before. We are also offering an unprecedented opportunity in our Spring 2025 Heifer Calf Dispersal. You will have the opportunity to access every spring born 2025 Angus heifer calf at FHCC and will be selecting from leading edge genetics that have been in our herd for as many as nine generations. These females can put the unbeatable combination of elite genetics and youth in your hands to deliver value and profitability over the next decade. The Majority and Foundation bulls that we sold here two years ago are leading that charge. We are extremely proud of the job that they are doing and are excited to showcase some of their first and oldest progeny in this sale. Our program continues to grow, allowing us to share significantly more elite females than ever before. We’ve made a large step forward this year in terms of not only the top-end quality but more importantly the depth of quality throughout the sale. With record breaking prices and positive supply side fundamentals, we are excited about the unprecedented opportunity ahead of us in the beef industry! At the same time, we recognize that ever increasing input costs present challenges every day. We’re conf ident that our Better over Bigger genetic direction can be an asset to help position your herd to capitalize on the opportunity ahead while also managing input costs, efficiency and cow herd sustainability. You will also notice that this offering is built around our home-raised bulls, FHCC Foundation and FHCC Majority, and the cow family behind them. After selling through this ring three years ago, it is extremely gratifying to see how well these bulls have excelled from a proof standpoint and to see the quality and value they are delivering for producers around the country. As always, we’d like to thank you, our customers and friends for your continued support! We are so appreciative and humbled by the growing interest that our cattle and program continue to receive and by the positive feedback that we are receiving as our genetics are being sampled and tested across the country. That support is always appreciated, and especially this year through the challenges of losing our sale barn to a fire in late July. We are blessed and fortunate that no one was hurt and all of our frozen genetics survived the fire. Rest assured that the facility will be back bigger and better than ever. Plans for the rebuild are well underway but will likely not be completed by sale day. Please dress for tent weather but we promise great cattle, camaraderie with good friends and our signature cupcakes. For many years, our program has not only focused on growth and performance but also on keeping mature size and feed input costs in check. We’ve tried very hard to avoid extreme growth cattle that require more feed intake and mature size than reasonable environments can support. There are no perfect cattle and there is no free lunch but know that those considerations are part of our selection and breeding program. You can find more detail about our genetic emphasis and direction on page 30. We have an awesome crew at FHCC. Tory Chasteen, Jack Keene, Jayden Seidner, Bryan West and Tonto Davis are great people that we are proud to have on our team. Thank you guys - for all that you do! We also lost a very good cowboy and even better friend this year in Matt Dick. We are thankful for all that he contributed to us both personally and professionally and for his continued influence through his positive legacy and example. If you can’t be here on sale-day, please take advantage of our website and DVAuction for information and videos. We’d also encourage you to reach out for a personal visit or call to discuss the cattle. You can follow us on Facebook or visit our website at FHCCbeef.com to get updates and see videos of the sale offering. There is no doubt that today is a great time to invest in the right genetics to positively influence your operation. Please join us on November 17 th . You can follow us on Facebook or visit our website at FHCCbeef.com to get updates and see videos of the sale offering. Don’t hesitate to call if you have questions or to arrange a visit. There is no doubt that today is a great time to invest in the right genetics to positively influence your operation. Finally, we’d like to again thank our crew for the outstanding job that they do, day in and day out caring for our cattle and looking out for all things FHCC! Don’t hesitate to reach out to Tory or Jack if you have questions about the cattle. Welcome to our 13 th Annual Family Values event! We hope you can join us on November 16 th for our biggest and best Family Values Production Sale ever. Opportunity abounds in the beef business today! We are experiencing all-time high cattle prices due in part to the quality and demand our product has built but also due to the tightest supplies and the smallest cow herd we’ve seen in this nation in the last 60 years. With limited heifer retention and generally improved moisture across the country, market fundamentals signal excellent prospects for the future. If you are looking to expand your registered or commercial cowherd or just invest in the quality of your genetics to capitalize on the market, this year’s Family Values event is for you. While record prices are a tremendous blessing, we recognize that ever increasing input costs present challenges every day. We’re confident that our Better over Bigger genetic direction can be an asset to help position your herd to capitalize on the opportunity ahead while also managing input costs, efficiency and cow herd sustainability.

Comprehensive Maternal Focus At FHCC we have long been focused on enhancing maternal quality and value by combining the best of old-fashioned cow sense with the very latest science and modern technology. From a data perspective, we were extremely proud when FHCC Violet Lass 509 emerged as the #1 animal in the Angus breed in 2008 for the then primary maternal index of $Weaning.
FHCC Violet Lass 509
All Non-Parent Angus Bulls
Seventeen years later, the tools and the data have advanced and FHCC Everlast 5544 currently ranks as the #1 non-parent bull and the #1 animal in the entire Angus database for $Maternal index. In early October, he was in fact the first animal to break the +150 barrier for $M.

Better Bigger over
Moderate Intake & Mature Size We avoid high intake, large mature size genetics whenever possible. To improve efficiency and reduce cowherd maintenance costs we strive to find cattle with less Dry Matter Intake and less Mature Size relative to their level of performance. We highlight DMI, MW and MH EPDs in our catalog when they rank in smallest 50% of the breed. Docility & Foot Quality To us, Docility and Foot Quality are more than convenience traits, they are critical foundational traits. We put a heavy premium on Docility and Foot Quality in our selection process and highlight EPDs that rank in the top 35%. Hair Shedding Ability In our environment, the ability to slick off quickly and completely is critical to performance and reproduction on fescue pastures. We avoid genetics in the bottom third of the population and highlight the top 35% in our catalog. Fertility and Longevity For commercial customers that rely on our genetics, nothing happens until their females get pregnant and nothing is more impactful to their bottom line than the functionality and longevity of their cow herds. We are enrolled in the Maternal Plus whole herd reporting program and are excited about how our herd ranks for Functional longevity and about our ability to emphasize and improve this trait going forward. Carcass Quality and Value End product is what the cattle business is all about. Carcass Quality and Value have been very high on our priority list for the last three decades and continue to be today. Multiple generations of selection pressure give us a strong genetic base for carcass traits and allows us to now place more emphasis on efficiency and maternal value. FHCC females are designed around an approach that continues to demand performance but balances that with a strong emphasis on key maternal, efficiency & convenience traits.

✓ The choice for Lot 1 in this year’s sale was pretty straightforward. Once we made the difficult decision to offer FHCC Blackcap Lady 1550, there was no doubt that she would lead off this year’s event. ✓ We were very excited when 1550 originally sold half-interest with her flush brother FHCC Majority in our 2022 sale. We had great confidence in both of them but made the comment at the time that 1550 might be an even more powerful breeding piece because of her unique $Maternal advantages. ✓ Over the last three years both have exceeded our high expectations, producing top quality cattle and not only maintaining but continuing to improve their breed leading genetic predictions for the traits that drive both $Maternal and $Combined indexes. ✓ Today there are only three active dams in the entire Angus breed that can match 1550’s elite combination of both $Maternal and $Combined genetic value. ✓ Her first daughter sold as our featured and top-selling heifer calf in last year’s sale to Byrd Cattle Company in California. There has also been strong competition for the limited number of embryos that we’ve offered, with Katie Colin Farm and Tall Timber Angus in Georgia and Three Trees Land and Cattle Company in Texas adding her elite genetics to their programs. ✓ Owned with Powers Angus Ranch, Platte, SD. She sells in her entirety and is open and ready for immediate ET or IVF work. ✓ Sweet is the first word that comes to mind when viewing this female, but it doesn’t begin to fully describe her. She’s exceptionally long bodied, beautiful uddered and ultra-feminine in her design. She’s also bold in her rib shape with plenty of power. ✓ Her mother has been a favorite here and 3567 is already challeng- ing her for most favored cow status. ✓ When you get to the data, things get extra special. 3567 is the #1 Top Cut daughter in production for $Maternal index, and depending on the week has ranked as high as #3 in the breed among all active dams. ✓ More than her elite $Maternal index, we appreciate and value the fact that she registers on the right side of the ledger across 28 EPDs and Indexes with absolutely zero negative traits or blemishes that deduct from her overall value and mating flexibility. ✓ Offering an IVF cycle to the bull of the buyer’s choice.
