Half the year had gone by. To face the challenges of the pandemic, The Grassroots’ Club (TGC) and its tenants thrived by redefining themselves and moving along with the times. They have been steadfast on their quest in providing members with safe and enriching experiences. Muslim Delights is among them. This Malay restaurant started in 1997 and was featured in the Michelin Guide in 2018 as one of the country’s top five Nasi Padang restaurants. It has been our priority to keep our Members and staff safe. With all COVID-19 safety protocols in place coupled with our Members’ understanding, TGC is able to organize physical classes such as JUSTDANCE and POWERSTRETCH (page 10) to improve your fitness, mental health and mood. With more time spend working from home and relaxing at home, having better indoor air quality at home can improve cognitive function and quality of sleep. To celebrate Singapore’s 56 th birthday, TGC is having a 1-FOR-1 Cathay Cineplex Movie Tickets specially for the first 50 Members. Read page 11 to find out how to grab this good deal! The Membership & Events Committee is always looking into bringing better Membership Privileges for Members. To better serve Members, TGC has now entered into a reciprocal partnership with the Singapore Polytechnic Graduates’ Guild located in the west at Dover Road!
