Label and flexible packaging press manufac- turer MPS has announced that several of its Dutch entities have filed for provisional sus- pension of payments in the Netherlands. This step is intended to create the financial and operational space necessary to safeguard the company’s long-term continuity. An independent administrator has been appointed by the court to oversee the pro- cess and support MPS management in as- sessing restructuring options. Together, they are working on a sustainable path forward for the company, its customers, employees, and partners. Continuing Forward Creditors with a claim without preference will not be paid for the time being as a result of the moratorium. This does not apply to the current obli- gations during the term of the suspension of payments, they should simply be paid. If this is not possible, the suspension of payments will have to be withdrawn. This is a point of constant attention. Throughout this process, MPS operations continue without interruption where possible. All service, support, and commissioning activ- ities are ongoing. Yerecic Label Expands Press Capacity In Arizona Yerecic Label has added a new Mark Andy P7 printing press at its Arizona facility. The press installation includes a 17-inch P7 Mark Andy flexo press, a Martin Automatic unwind stand, and a KTI turret rewinder de- signed to minimize press interruptions. E&L inspection equipment is also used for defect detection.
