Speaker Biographies

Greg Henrich - TVA Greg Henrich is the Vice President of Transmission Operations at TVA and is accountable for “Keeping the Lights On” for the 10 million people of the Tennessee Valley. He is currently leading a grid modernization effort to prepare TVA for the grid of tomorrow. He has been a member of the NERC Operating Committee, North American Transmission Forum, an EPRI advisor, and Southeast Energy Exchange Market Board member as a representative for TVA. While at TVA, Greg served as a leader setting direction for the twenty-year asset strategy, planning the transmission system, overseeing transmission maintenance, developing telecommunication planning and maintenance strategy, and as a NERC certified system operator. Mr. Henrich received his B.S. in Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and his Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga.

Jackie Perlette - CAISO Prior to joining the CAISO, Jackie spent nine years in the Navy as a Nuclear Electrician's Mate onboard the USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74). After the Navy, she found the Power4Vets program at a job fair and started studying toward her NERC certification. She was hired by IncSys in 2012 and spent the next six years running training simulations on the PowerSimulator BRICK, traveling the world, and meeting other amazing operators.

Jackie is RC NERC Certified and has worked at the CAISO since 2018 as a Transmission Dispatcher with the current title of Transmission Security
