BOISE WELCOMES THE SEASON OF CHANGE PUMPKIN PATCHES, FESTIVALS, AND MORE

As the leaves change and the weather gets cooler, one thing is for certain — fall is upon us. Check out these fall-tastic activities that the whole family can enjoy. Linder Farms Fall Festival Also known as one of the best pumpkin patches in Idaho, Linder Farms is a destination hotspot for all your fall needs. Its ode to fall features hayrides that will take you around their almost 30 acres of pumpkins — that’s three separate patches with up to 60 pumpkin varieties to choose from. They also have a hay-bale maze for the kids and a more complex corn maze that boasts more than 3 miles of paths. As if it couldn’t get any better, the farm features a petting zoo, tire playground, pony rides, and even a mechanical bull. This event will keep going throughout the months of September and October, and ticket prices may vary, so check out Linder.Farm for more details. Cabalo’s Orchard and Gardens If your family embraces organic lifestyles, this is the place to be. Over three generations of the Cabalo family cultivate 10 acres of

seasonal produce — all without pesticides! Open to the public Thursdays–Sundays in October, you can pick your own pumpkins, pie pumpkins, and buy three varieties of apples. The hayrides are free, but the decorative gourds, corn stalks, unpasteurized apple cider, and mini straw bales are available for purchase. It’s everything you need to decorate your home for the season. Take a look at CabalosOrchard.com for more details. Fall and Gourd Festival This four-day extravaganza will take place from Sept. 22–25, and it involves all things fall and gourds. Guests can tour the exhibition of arts, crafts, gifts, and demonstrations that have been created by talented members of the Idaho Gourd Society. Enjoy live music, food trucks, and a destination shopping experience. Even better, it is completely free! Whether you go alone, are with friends, or visit with the whole family, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. For more information, check out FranzWitte.com .

There’s no better way to embrace the season of change than by making fall memories that’ll last a lifetime.
