• Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject. • Membership of a relevant professional body e.g. RICS, CIBSE or similarly recognised organisation. • An understanding of construction contracts • Experience in running / managing services-relat- edprojects in either an Electrical or Mechanical discipline. • Experience of preparing tender documenta- tion and evaluating tender submissions and quotations Desirable: • Demonstrable experience of: • Contract Administration & Construction Project Management • Knowledge of the following areas: • CDM Regulations 2015 • Town & Country Planning Act 1990
• JCT Standard Forms of Building Contract • Procurement and commissioning / handover procedures • Experience in negotiating fees and variation costs. • Previous experience in budget planning and financial control. • Experience in using project programming using Microsoft Project. • An understanding of current technical devel- opments and advancements in construction techniques, mechanical & electrical plant & equipment and energy conservation methods • Experience with working with utility companies. • Experience in using CAD
