Timeguard has added world-class Wi-Fi control to its popular super- compact PIR floodlight range – and Ireland’s electrical trade has voted it a winner. The super-compact, powerful and feature-filled LED200 has been named as Lighting Product of the Year in Ireland’s Electrical Awards 2024. costs when they choose to use a third-party app that’s continuously maintained, improved and de-bugged, but Timeguard believes the only choice in the home and light-commercial market is the TuYa App. One new feature usually associated with more-expensive commercial and integrated smart home applications is the option of Hi-Lo control. Lights can be set to stay permanently on at a low level during hours of dusk and darkness but will automatically brighten when someone is within their detection field. Time on, sensitivity and light levels at which the light will not switch on are also all adjustable via the app.
Even if the user’s network or home does go down for a while, the LED200WFB will continue to work offline, retaining its current PIR time delay, lux and second-stage lighting settings for as long as necessary. Another big plus is users can manage other compatible lighting and devices in harmony, with LED200WFB’s indirect load activation set up to trigger other Tuya Smart devices when the PIR detects someone in the area. Installation will be quick and easy too, with the lights featuring a simple snap- in wall plate with fast-fix pin terminal block, a handy corner bracket and options for cable entry.
