Deemed a “brilliant” product by the panel of judges, the Safe-Connect product line prioritises safety and precision. It protects against electrical fire or equipment failure by cleverly generating a predictive warning on overheated equipment. Thermochromic components in these products cause a colour change based on temperature ranges, providing 24/7 safety monitoring which gives a predictive warning. The indicator shifts from black to red in response to temperature changes, providing real-time monitoring. It operates in five-degree intervals, enabling users to quickly assess temperature fluctuations. The highly-visible colour change ensures easy observation, even from a distance and under varying lighting conditions. Thermo-TA’s non-digital design simplifies asset health monitoring, making it user-friendly and cost effective. IRISS’ mission is to have zero accidents, injuries or fatalities in the global electrical services industry and Safe-Connect Thermochromic Solutions brings the company another step closer to achieving its goals. Judges liked the fact the range is “affordable, portable and easy to monitor” and can be used in a vast array of applications. The indicator’s simplicity and clarity reduce the risk of unnoticed temperature variations, enhancing equipment and performance.
