The Alleynian 712 2024

The U15s made a case to be the strongest year group across the board with excellent A-team performances along with great depth throughout the B, C, D and E teams. The A team had a promising cup run which was unfortunately cut short by a strong Hampton team in the fourth round. However, they bounced back with plenty of resilience to finish with convincing victories against Eton College and St Paul’s. Emmanuel Ogisi was the consummate captain and team- mate all season and he set the standard with all-round performances in attack and defence every week. Char- lie Johnson and Antoine Luquet were two of the most improved players, progressing from the B team into the A team, and Ryan Jafer and Solomon Adeyemi used their elusive running and noses for the try line to push them- selves from the Ds into the Bs. The 16As were potentially the most improved side across the College, finishing with three strong victories against Tonbridge, Eton College and St Paul’s. Strong forward play from Chib Okoro-Felix, Muhammad Chaudhry and James Casstles guaranteed plenty of ball for Orson Mat- thews, Freddie De Groot and Joshua Hippolyte to attack with. Isaac Chapman added class when he returned from playing for the 1st XV, but a special mention must go to Petar Krivacevic. Petar started the season in the 16D group and had a meteoric rise to finish as the starting tighthead prop for the A team, which is a phenomenal achievement and proof of the progress that can be made with consistent training. Ranveer Rauniyar, DJ Paintsil, Jowan Ng, Dimitri Keze- rashvili and Rafe Lusher also made huge progress, and Dougie Greenhill captained the 16C team with unwavering commitment and passion. As a result of his efforts he was awarded U16 Clubman of the Year at the end-of-season awards. RESULTS:
