While Seun primarily concentrated on mathematics ed- ucation, he also played a valued role as a Form Tutor in the Lower School and contributed to the school’s football activities, including taking the U14E team and partici- pating in staff matches. Seun leaves Dulwich to dedicate more time to his family and private tutoring. He will be greatly missed and we wish him the very best for the next chapter in his career. ◉

Seun initially joined Dulwich in September 2019, immediately following the completion of his undergraduate degree in pure mathematics at UCL. He was part of our second cohort of trainee mathematics teachers, joining under the

auspices of the newly established National Maths & Physics SCITT. Despite considerable disruption to his training due to Covid lockdowns, Seun made exceptional strides in his teaching, bolstered by his first-rate mathematics knowledge and adept classroom management skills. Notably, he managed to maintain a comprehensive yet benign authority over the most spirited and enthusiastic of Lower School classes. Upon completing the programme, Seun spent a year teaching at Sydenham High School. Though he relished the new challenge of teaching in an all-girls setting, it had long been his dream to work at Dulwich, something he would realise after securing a full-time teaching post here in September 2021. The Mathematics Department warmly welcomed him back and reaped the benefits of his expertise in teaching the more complex parts of the A-level course. Seun’s caring and supportive demean- our and sharp sartorial sense earned him popularity and respect amongst his pupils, who were inspired by his teaching to explore beyond the curriculum and (in the
