Typesetting First impressions matter, and a professionally designed interior can make all the difference. Our typesetting team applies a typographic design to your text, arranges images and graphics, and sets the style of each page, from font size to page layout. This process not only enhances readability but also gives the book a polished look. You’ll receive a style proof, showing the typesetting style our production team proposes to use for your book, for you to make amendments to and ultimately approve, ahead of the full typeset being completed. You’ll then have the opportunity to make any revisions to the proofs, as well as have a proofread, before approval of the final text file.
1. ISBN Registration For a book to be sold in UK bookshops, it needs an International Standard Book Number (ISBN), a unique identifier that’s essential for listing in sales channels. We can provide an ISBN if we are handling your publication in the UK, and to ensure that your title complies with the EU’s GPSR legislation, or you may choose to obtain one yourself. 2. Editing You’ve crafted your manuscript with care, double-checked facts and ensured spelling accuracy. Perhaps friends have reviewed it and you’ve gone through it countless times.
