Inflation Reduction Act & Electrification Hub

New 25C Dealer Resource This resource provides a summary of the 2023 Energy Efficient Home Improvement Tax Credit and highlights example system and credit combinations. New Tax Credit Qualifying Systems list CEE has worked with AHRI to publish qualified product lists for all residential heat pumps, air conditioners, and furnaces that meet CEE's highest non- advanced tier in alignment with the 25C tax credit requirements. This live link on the Hub provides quick access to the CEE list, which is the most accurate and updated list for qualifying products. New Sandler Inflation Reduction Act Training Watch the webinar on Selling at the Table with the 25C Tax Credit to learn more about how to use the tax credits and rebates in the Inflation Reduction Act. Dealer Rewards Mastercard is Transition

Trane Dealer Rewards will be transitioning to a new prepaid card to improve the participant experience.

Card Features:

The new card will be a MasterCard, with a card life of 36 months. Cards will have a rolling expiration versus a fixed expiration and will automatically be reissued if the card is active. The new card does NOT need to be activated, with the PIN selection being optional. The new cards will have a chip that allows for a more secure transaction (does not include tap to pay). Participants can access cash from an ATM or via ACH transaction Mobile-friendly statement site allows cardholder to manage their card in real-time. Language Toggle allows Participants to select preferred language on statement site. Ability to add prepaid card to e-wallet apps including Apple, Google and Samsung Pay.

Refrigerant Transition

Beginning January 1, 2025 , the U.S. Federal Government will require Residential HVAC equipment to use refrigerants with a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of less than 700. To comply with and support these regulations, Trane will refresh equipment portfolios with low GWP refrigerant with rollout beginning in 2024. Additionally, the Refrigerant Transition Overview is now available in the Marketing Resource Center. You can search sku 62- 7328-01 in the MRC to download or place an order. This overview is a great starting point to gain a high-level understanding of the transition and product impact. Over the coming weeks and months, more resources and information regarding product phase in/out timelines will be available. Stay tuned!
