Waste Reduction and Recycling: 2025 Data
The clear-outs explain most of this; dead stock leaving our warehouse and logistics centre largely couldn't be recycled and was instead routed to energy recovery.
We won't pretend this year's numbers moved in the direction we wanted. Total waste produced rose by 13.75 tonnes, a 53% increase on 2024, and our recycling rate fell by 43%, with general waste up 83% year-on-year.
