Our Sustainability Commitment Next Steps: 2026 and beyond
Across all three pillars, Carbon, Resource Efficiency & Waste, and People, we remain committed to practical, evidence-led action that delivers real environmental, social and business outcomes, not just figures on a page.
2025 was a year where ambition met delivery. Achieving carbon neutrality across Scope 1 and 2 wasn't an easy milestone, but it proved what's possible when data, accountability and action work together. As we move into 2026, our focus shifts from proving what's achievable to building on it, deepening our understanding, sharpening our targets, and extending our impact further across our supply chain and the communities we serve.
Key priorities for 2025–2027 include:
Work with our freight suppliers to identify low-carbon transport solutions, our single largest opportunity to reduce emissions
Develop practical guidance to help our teams reduce waste in how we order, package and dispose of materials
Build on our first employee wellbeing survey with transparent reporting and a genuine "you said, we did" approach Re-develop our supplier engagement plan to better understand, and support, our supply chain's sustainability capabilities
Complete a carbon validation exercise to strengthen the accuracy of our data across all three scopes
Investigate what's driving increased electricity consumption, so we can act on the right solution
Deepen our understanding of product materials, supporting suppliers with clearer end-of-life disposal guidance management options.
