Our Sustainability Commitment
As we progress, we remain committed to a measured and transparent journey, testing every stage to ensure our targets stay realistic and achievable. This gives our customers, partners and stakeholders a solid, credible foundation to build on, aligned with ISO standards, SBTi criteria and the UK Government's own objectives.
At Garland UK, our Sustainability Commitment is grounded in science-based action, long-term accountability and responsible leadership. In 2025, we took a defining step towards these targets, achieving carbon neutrality across Scope 1 and 2, a milestone that reflects years of focused data collection, supplier engagement, and operational change. Our approach continues to centre on three pillars, Carbon, Resource Efficiency & Waste, and People. These pillars shape every part of our operations, guiding how we reduce our environmental footprint, use materials responsibly, and support our teams and supply chain partners to deliver lasting impact.
Target Achieve our near-term reduction targets by 2032 and our long-term net-zero target by 2050, aligned with a 1.5°C pathway.
Near-term: A 45% absolute reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2032, against our 2023 baseline
Long-term: Net zero by 2050, a 90% absolute reduction across Scope 1, 2 and 3
