Galloping Giggles - Adventures with Hoofed Heroes

The raccoons, startled by her sudden appearance, dropped the pumpkin and dashed into the night. Daisy grinned, proud of herself for protecting the prized pumpkin.

Thunder’s shift came next.

The night had grown colder, and a light fog began to settle over the farm. Thunder’s large frame moved silently through the mist, his eyes scanning the area. He loved the quiet of the night and felt a deep sense of duty.

As he patrolled, he heard a soft squeak and turned to see a raccoon tugging at a smaller pumpkin. Thunder approached slowly, his presence alone enough to make the raccoon reconsider its actions. The raccoon let go of the pumpkin and scampered away, leaving Thunder to continue his watch in peace.

Finally, it was Buck’s turn.

The first light of dawn was starting to appear on the horizon, and the sky was painted with hues of pink and orange. Buck felt a sense of pride as he began his shift, knowing his friends had done an excellent job.

As Buck walked through the pumpkin patch, he noticed a particularly crafty raccoon trying to sneak away with a pumpkin under the cover of dawn. Buck approached the raccoon calmly.

“Nice try, but these pumpkins are staying right here,” Buck said firmly.

The raccoon looked at Buck, realized it had been caught, and reluctantly dropped the pumpkin before scampering off. Buck smiled, satisfied that their teamwork had paid off.
