Star nodded. “We faced the wind head-on and didn’t let it stop us.”
Thunder smiled. “And we did it together, like always.”
Buck looked at his friends, his heart full of pride. “We’ve proven once again that we can handle anything. No matter what challenges come our way, we’ll face them together.”
Just as they were getting comfortable, a sudden loud noise startled them.
It sounded like something had fallen outside. Buck immediately stood up. “Let’s check it out,” he said, leading the way.
They trotted outside and saw that a section of the fence had been blown over by the wind. The horses quickly sprang into action. Buck and Thunder lifted the fallen pieces while Star and Daisy fetched tools and materials to fix it.
Despite the wind, they worked efficiently, communicating and helping each other. In no time, the fence was back up, sturdy and secure.
“Great job, everyone,” Buck said, his voice filled with pride. “We fixed it in record time.”
As they returned to the barn once more, Farmer Jenkins came over to thank them again.
“You all are amazing,” he said, giving each horse a pat. “I couldn’t ask for better helpers. The farm is lucky to have you.”
