Chapter 6: Beach Day Bonanza
Summer had arrived at Maplewood Farm, bringing with it the promise of long, sunny days and endless fun. The horses were particularly excited because today was the day they would visit the beach for the very first time. Buck, Star, Daisy, and Thunder could hardly contain their excitement as Farmer Jenkins prepared the trailer for their trip.
"Imagine the sun, the sand, and the waves!" Star exclaimed, her eyes sparkling. "It's going to be amazing!"
Daisy bounced on her hooves, her energy contagious. "I want to build sandcastles and find seashells! And maybe even see some dolphins!"
Thunder, ever the gentle giant, smiled. "I've never seen the ocean before. I wonder what it smells like."
Buck, the ever-reliable leader, nodded. "Let's make this the best beach day ever!"
The journey to the beach was filled with chatter and excitement. When they finally arrived, the sight of the vast ocean took their breath away. The sun shone brightly, the waves crashed rhythmically, and the golden sand stretched out as far as the eye could see.
The first thing they did was explore the beach.
Star raced ahead, her hooves kicking up sand as she ran along the shoreline. The cool ocean breeze whipped through her mane, and she let out a joyful whinny. "This is fantastic! I feel so free!"
