“Look at how they move,” she said, her voice full of awe. “They’re so big but so gentle.”
The elephants seemed to take a liking to Daisy, one of them extending its trunk to gently nuzzle her. Daisy giggled, delighted by the interaction.
Meanwhile, Thunder struck up a conversation with a zebra named Zane. They exchanged stories about their respective homes, discovering that despite their differences, they had a lot in common.
Next, they visited the performers' tent.
Acrobats were flipping through the air, jugglers were tossing colourful balls and clubs, and clowns were making everyone laugh with their antics. Star was in her element, watching the performers with keen interest.
“I’m going to try that!” she declared, pointing to a tightrope walker who was balancing high above the ground.
With some help from the circus trainers, Star climbed up to the practice tightrope. She took a deep breath and started to walk carefully. Her friends watched with bated breath as she balanced, step by step. When she reached the end, she leaped gracefully onto the platform, and the crowd erupted in applause.
“That was incredible!” Buck cheered. “You looked like a natural up there.”
Star beamed with pride. “Thanks! I think I’ve found a new hobby.”
Their next adventure was in the clowns' tent.
