Chapter 8: Treasure Hunt Tails
It was a lazy afternoon at Maplewood Farm when Farmer Jenkins walked into the barn with a mischievous grin on his face. The horses perked up, curious about what he had in store for them.
“Gather ‘round, everyone!” Farmer Jenkins called out. “I’ve got a surprise for you.”
Buck, Star, Daisy, and Thunder trotted over, their eyes gleaming with anticipation.
“What’s the surprise?” Daisy asked, bouncing on her hooves.
Farmer Jenkins held up an old, weathered map. “I found this treasure map while cleaning out the attic. It looks like there’s a treasure hidden somewhere on the farm. How would you all like to go on a treasure hunt?”
The horses’ eyes widened with excitement. A treasure hunt sounded like the perfect adventure.
“We’re in!” Buck declared, speaking for the group. “Let’s find that treasure!”
Farmer Jenkins handed the map to Buck. “Good luck, adventurers. Remember to work together and have fun.”
The treasure hunt began with the horses studying the map closely.
The map showed various landmarks on the farm, each marked with a clue. The first clue was near the old oak tree by the pasture.
