Chapter 10: The Friendship Festival
The summer sun rose over Maplewood Farm, casting a warm glow over the fields and pastures. Today was a special day—Farmer Jenkins had organized a Friendship Festival to celebrate the bonds between all the animals on the farm. There would be games, music, and a grand feast. Buck, Star, Daisy, and Thunder were excited to take part and help make the day unforgettable.
“This is going to be amazing,” Star said, her eyes sparkling with excitement. “We get to celebrate with all our friends!”
Daisy bounced on her hooves. “And there will be games! I love games!”
Thunder nodded, a warm smile on his face. “It’s a perfect day to show how much we appreciate each other.”
Buck, ever the leader, grinned. “Let’s make this the best Friendship Festival ever. We’ll help set up and make sure everyone has a great time.”
The preparations began early in the morning.
The horses helped Farmer Jenkins set up tables and chairs in the big open field. They hung colourful banners and streamers, turning the farm into a festive wonderland. The chickens decorated their coop with flowers, the pigs arranged a mud slide for fun, and the ducks prepared a pond race course.
Once everything was ready, the animals gathered in the field, their hearts full of joy and anticipation. Farmer Jenkins stood before them, holding a microphone.
