Chapter 11: The Mystery of the Midnight Glow
It was a clear, starry night at Maplewood Farm. The animals were settling in for a good night’s sleep when suddenly, a strange, glowing light appeared in the distance. The light flickered and danced, casting an eerie glow over the fields and woods. Buck, Star, Daisy, and Thunder woke up, their curiosity piqued by the mysterious light.
“What do you think it is?” Daisy whispered, her eyes wide with wonder.
“I have no idea,” Star replied, her mane shimmering in the moonlight. “But I say we go find out!”
Thunder nodded, his gentle voice full of curiosity. “We should investigate. It could be something magical.”
Buck, always the leader, stood up and stretched. “Alright, let’s go see what this mystery is all about. Stay close, and let’s be careful.”
The horses trotted out of the barn, their hooves making soft thuds on the ground.
They followed the light, which seemed to be coming from the edge of the woods. As they got closer, the light grew brighter, and they could hear a faint, melodic humming sound.
“This is so exciting!” Daisy said, her voice hushed with anticipation.
Star flicked her ears, trying to catch the source of the humming. “It sounds like music. Do you hear that?”
