Along the upper reaches of the River Severn and the borders between England and Wales, the countryside of Shropshire shelters some of the most beautiful landscapes and unspoilt towns waiting to be discovered. Day 1 Depart from your home area travelling to Lichfield with time for lunch before we head to the Buckatree Hall Hotel where we will be greeted with tea & biscuits. Day 2 This morning we enjoy trip to Shrewsbury where you have free time to obtain lunch in the town and spend some time enjoying the pretty architecture or visiting its attractions. In the afternoon, we enjoy a cruise on the River Severn and afterwards we have time to explore and enjoy the town’s retail and attractions. Day 3 This morning we visit Attingham Park. This stunning stately home was built in 1785 and was in continuous ownership by the same family for 160 years. Afterwards we enjoy a scenic drive to Ludlow where you can obtain lunch and enjoy free time as per your own arrangements. Day 4 This morning we head south to Bridgnorth. Here we join the famous Severn Valley Railway for a delightful ride along the beautiful Severn Valley, passing through lovingly restored stations on the way to Kidderminster. From here we head for the impressive Ironbridge Gorge where the world’s first iron bridge forms the centre of this World Heritage Site. Here we visit Blists Hill and the Victorian Town where we can explore the site with its many different attractions as we see what life was like at this time. Late afternoon we return to the hotel. Day 5 After breakfast we visit The National Arboretum before heading for home.

Step back in time and enjoy the charm and sea breeze of Bournemouth. Nestled in a sheltered bay on the south coast, this superb break will take you on trips to discover the delights the area has to offer. Day 1 Depart from your home we travel to Bournemouth, calling at Guildford on the way, arriving at our hotel late afternoon. Day 2 This morning we travel to the market town of Lymington, in the south of the New Forest where you have time to explore before we head to Beaulieu; home to The National Motor Museum, World of Top Gear, Palace House & Gardens and more! Later, we head to the town of Lyndhurst, known as the capital of The New Forest since the times of William the Conqueror. This is the perfect place for a short stop to look around the town and perhaps enjoy a drink before we return to the hotel. Day 3 A day at leisure for you to explore Bournemouth. Take a stroll along the shore and enjoy lunch at a seafront pub, or relax in the delightful gardens and watch the world go by. Day 4 This morning we head to Salisbury where we enjoy a guided tour of the magnificent cathedral, followed by Cream Tea. Afterwards, the time is your own to explore at leisure the well-preserved medieval City with its many wooden buildings. This afternoon, we continue past the ancient and mystical Stonehenge on our way to Shaftesbury, a picturesque village. Day 5 After breakfast we head for Winchester with time to explore before it’s time to head home.
