Autumn Colours in Cornwall TUESDAY 24TH – SATURDAY 28TH OCTOBER £659pp St Agnes retains links with Cornwall's industrial past and an ideal base to explore Padstow, Truro and the seaside resort of Falmouth with its picturesque waterfront and quaint streets. This holiday also includes a visit to the Eden Project, home of the largest indoor rain forest, the vibrant town of Newquay and the fishing town of St Ives. It is a huge hit for all customers year after year. Day 1 Following collection from home, travel to the 3-star Rosemundy Hotel for a four-night stay including dinner, bed and breakfast Day 2 This morning we head to Padstow with its medieval buildings and famous restaurants owned by Rick Stein. We spend the afternoon in the vibrant seaside town of Newquay Day 3 Today we have a full day to explore the world-famous Eden Project. Home to the largest indoor rainforest in the world. People flock from all over to see this spectacular attraction which houses thousands of unusual plants from all over the world. The domes feature banana trees, giant bamboo, grape vines, rubber plants, waterfalls, steamy jungles, giant sculptures, a treetop lookout and much more Day 4 We spend the morning in Falmouth with time to explore its picturesque waterfront and quaint streets. This afternoon we visit Truro, Cornwall’s Cathedral City, with cobbled streets and Georgian town houses. Day 5 We depart after a leisurely breakfast and make our way home.

Festive Chatsworth & Bakewell FRIDAY 10TH – SUNDAY 12TH NOVEMBER £339pp Chatsworth is the magnificent Derbyshire home of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. It is a place of great beauty and history set amid breath-taking scenery. This special weekend break takes us to see the house all dressed up for the Christmas season. Decorated with foliage, lights and candles, as well as scenes to evoke the spirit of Christmas, the house is a superb Peak District gem. Day 1 Departing home we make our way to Nottinghamshire, pausing in Melton Mowbray, arriving at our hotel where we are welcomed with tea and biscuits on arrival. Day 2 This morning we make the short journey to Bakewell where we have time to look around the town and enjoy a coffee break, perhaps with a slice of Bakewell Tart from the Original Pudding Shop. We leave around midday for Chatsworth House, delightfully decorated for Christmas, where we have chance to obtain lunch before exploring the house featuring tens of thousands of baubles and fairy lights, hundreds of giant trees and miles upon miles of sumptuous garlands and festive flowers. You may wish to end the day with a well-deserved cuppa in the café before we return to the hotel. Day 3 Departing after breakfast, we make the journey home, calling at Stamford on the way.
