We are growing so fast that we will continue to need their help going forward, just on a more limited basis. Having trusted partners is amazing, and important, but it can also be a liability as you cannot control certain elements of your business; you’re depen- dent upon the company you are outsourcing to. Ultimately, it gives us more control over our production timeline.”

As the company began to expand from its original tiny footprint in the corner of the PepsiCo facility, adding machinery and employees along the way, Middlestreet’s needs began to burst at the seams at the company’s orig- inal building. Adding another building became inevitable. The two buildings are now joined by a walkway that allows the movement of printed and die cut materials to the ad- joining building that completes the assembly and pack out of our displays. It’s important to note that none of the progress expe- rienced by Middlestreet would be possible without the support of its parent company. G&J “PepsiCo who have given us pretty much everything we’ve asked for,” DeMar- co said. “We’re going to deliver on all our commitments to them as far as return on those investments. But having their support has frankly been amazing. Our business is fundamentally different from the bottling business, and they have entrusted us and they know what we are doing and to let us lead and maintain our own business with no interference. We are so appreciative of them.” Young Shin GIANT 250 DeMarco was no stranger to Young Shin, having worked with the manufacturer at a previous company. Middlestreet installed the largest unit from Young Shin, the GIANT 250 flat bed with a maximum sheet size of 2500 x 1700 mm; minimum sheet size 2500 x 800 mm, and maxi- mum cutting size 2100 x 1690 mm.
