Thin sheets feed smoothly and effortlessly with the GIANT’s enhanced feeding and conveying systems. The air floating device is said to allow easy withdrawal of the cutting plate for opti- mum operator efficiency. Two cameras are incorporated into the unit; one is placed within the stripping area and one is positioned in the delivery area. A monitor is located in the feed area for operator viewing.

Middlestreet is in the process of adding a conveyor belt to the die cutter, which will allow waste to travel directly to the baler without the need to for any operator guidance. “We spent most of the modernization of the company re- cently filling the gap that we had in our finishing depart- ment,” said DeMarco. “We could print vast amounts of work, but we couldn’t cut it.
