FACING SUICIDE: LET'S TALK DIGITAL SERIES

FACING SUICIDE LET’S TALK

Produced by Twin Cities PBS, Facing Suicide: Let’s Talk creates a space of understanding, hope, and action for young people whose lives have been impacted by suicide, including those who have experienced a suicidal crisis, and the loved ones, peers, and community who support them. In each episode host/therapist Shani Tran (below) brings a question to the group of individuals who have either dealt with suicidal ideation or an attempt, to get their insights and advice on how to navigate the complexities of a topic that can feel overwhelming. Each conversation revolves around how hope and healing have brought each individual to a place of stability in which they can manage their mental health, leverage their stories to connect with others, and continue to spread messages of hope.

EPISODES: • How Do I Ask For Help If I’m Thinking About Suicide? • How Can I Sustain My Mental Health When the World is Too Much? • How Do I Ask if Someone is Ok? • What Does Healing Look Like After Suicidal Ideation or an Attempt?

TPT's film, Facing Suicide , explores the powerful stories of those impacted by suicide — one of America’s most urgent health crises — and journeys to the front lines of research with scientists whose work is leading to better prevention and treatment.
