Welcome At Dulwich College, we are committed to providing a holistic education that nurtures both the academic and personal growth of our students. We recognise the importance of equipping students not only with the knowledge to succeed academically, but also with the life skills needed to thrive beyond the school environment. Our Wellbeing programme plays a central role in this mission, ensuring that students develop their potential, work productively and creatively, build strong relationships, contribute meaningfully to their community, and establish lifelong skills in managing their own and others’ happiness. We wish our pupils to be emotionally, physically and spiritually healthy; able to make sound life choices; to be compassionate, reflective and well-informed individuals; and to be well prepared for life beyond Dulwich. The College is dedicated to promoting wellbeing through a variety of age-appropriate initiatives. For younger pupils, this includes circle time, while older students benefit from dedicated lessons and curriculum time as they advance through the school. Additionally, the College emphasises wellbeing with school-wide awareness days, themed weeks, and termly focuses, ensuring it remains a constant priority in the personal development of our students. And listening to the needs of our students is at the heart of what we do, where they have a voice to say which are the topics that are most relevant to them. The Wellbeing programme and outstanding pastoral care is embedded in every aspect of the College. The intention of this publication is to illustrate just how this is achieved.
