New road over rail bridge and improvements to existing bridge; New link road to Blarney via Lower Sheen Road. Local Road improvements required including R617 and Station Road upgrades. Upgrade Waste Water infrastructure – new trunk sewer required to north of City linking to Carrigrennan (there may be an interim solution at Blarney WWTP). Upgrade required to Water Supply infrastructure (network extension pump station and off site main from Blarney). Sustainable Urban Drainage Strategy. Investment in retrofi tt ing infrastructure and services (physical, social and recreational) to improve quality of life for communities.
