Key Town Wexford Town With a population of 20,188 and 11,961 jobs recorded in 2016, Wexford is a regional centre for education, retail, health and public services. The strategic proximity of Wexford Town to Rosslare Europort is significant in the context of extension of the Dublin-Belfast Corridor to establish the Eastern Corridor to Rosslare Europort. The development of Rosslare and access routes to the port will be of national strategic importance for the State, particularly post-Brexit. The town has a vibrant arts and cultural sector with the National Opera House, WexfordArts Centre and annual festivals.
