On behalf of Spruce Hill Ranch, I would like to welcome you to our annual production sale. This is the most unique sale in the history of Spruce Hill Ranch. The offering includes 66 coming two-year-old bulls that represent the very best you’ll find anywhere. New to this year’s sale is a select group of bred heifers and open heifers—the finest females I’ve ever raised. This year’s bull offering includes sons of our resident herd sire, Finnegan 0135, whose progeny have been the high-selling sire group for two consecutive years. Also featured is an elite set of WILKS Regiment sons. New to this year’s offering are bulls sired by KCF Bennett Summation and BAR Dynamic. These cattle are equally impressive and provide more unique pedigree options for our repeat customers. The bred heifers represent the top 50 head from a group of 118. They are sired by the same sires as the bulls and were AI-bred to either Yon Discipline or Cherry CRK Blue Collar. While I am excited to offer these females, it is difficult to see them go. Several people who have viewed them prior to the sale have commented, “That’s the best set of breds I’ve ever seen.” That is the ultimate compliment. The open heifers are just as special as the breds and offer several exciting new sire groups, including Baldridge Heat Seeker and KCF Bennett Culmination. In addition, the Summation and Dynamic heifers are equally impressive. This group was hand-selected in August specifically for this sale, and I believe you will be just as impressed with the open heifers as you are with the breds. We have been working together for almost a year, brainstorming with multiple phone calls and a few ranch visits. Making a plan, changing the plan and making a new plan with every new idea and we believe you will see the results of all our hard work on February 5th. This sale is the culmination of teamwork between three generations and 40 years of friendship. From the next generation who clipped the bulls and prepped for pictures and videos to learning new skills in the office and on the ranch, Spruce Hill Ranch and Rocking H Livestock Services are truly family run businesses.
