They combine this with udder quality, structural soundness and have the look and eye appeal we strive to produce consistently. A standout since he was born Strategy has been on my radar. He combines power, muscle mass, rib shape, base width and length with eye-appeal, hoof quality and toe shape, a large scrotal and the softness and movement of a maternal cow-maker. He has performed every step of the way. His dam is a beautiful, long necked, feminine fronted, near perfect uddered daughter of Mc Cumber Tribute 702 and descends from the herd matron Miss Wix 2012 of Mc Cumber line who excels for fertility and productivity. His granddam Miss Wix 8008 of Mc Cumber is no stranger to producing herd bulls with sons working for JR Ranch and Redland Angus. She entered the ET program and is building her own reputation for quality within our program. Strategy reminds me of his sire Mc Cumber Zodiac 073, who continues to impress visitors to World West Sires in MT, but comes in a more robust, higher performing package that can really raise the bar. Due to injury, Mc Cumber Zodiac 073 has not been producing semen, with only a limited supply left. Mc Cumber Strategy 517 is poised to be the obvious replacement with the bred in ability to sire added performance, while maintaining the maternal strength bred in for generations.
