This will only apply to calves born and raised the year the bull was purchased. Guarantee: All bulls selling are guaranteed to be in good health and are guaranteed to be sound breeders. All bulls selling are guaranteed against breeding injury during the first breeding season. Breeding season is defined as the 90 day period following the first turnout of the bull. If an adequate replacement is available, one will be provided, or if the buyer prefers, credit will be given in the following year’s sale, less salvage value. Please notify the seller as soon as possible should an injury occur and prior to the injured bull being sold for salvage. All injured bulls must be diagnosed by a veterinarian with a copy sent to the seller. Death of the bull is not covered and the purchase of livestock mortality insurance to mitigate this type of loss is recommended. Absentee/Online Bidding: Bidding will be online via DV Auction. If you are unable to access DV, please contact the seller(s) or Sleepy Eye Auction Market. Volume Discounts: 2% - 2 bulls, 3% - 3 bulls, 4% - 4 bulls, 5% - 5 or more. Delivery: Free delivery on Bulls within 250 miles; balance at cost. Receive a $100 discount per Bull that you haul on sale day. We’ll assist you with long distance delivery to be done as soon as possible and cost efficient after the sale. Herd Health: Cattle all follow a veterinarian recommended protocol from birth to current day. The aged bulls will have passed a breeding soundness exam. Yearling bulls will be examined prior to May 1 and sell guaranteed to pass. Health papers will be available. International health papers will be at the buyer’s expense. Liability: All persons who attend do so at their own risk, legal or otherwise, for the safety of the animals. The owners assume no liabilities for property loss or any accidents that occur. We have weekly cattle sales every Wednesday starting at 10:30 am. Our feeder and production sales are held every 3rd Saturday November through March, then every 3rd Wednesday April through October. We are blessed to work with a great team of vets and nutritionist’s. Tri-County Vet clinic in Taunton, MN has a great team that ensures herd health and might be the best in the country for ET work. JR Feeds in Lake Norden, SD has nutritionists who understand cow/calf operations and we use their team to build our rations and develop our bulls. We feed a high roughage TMR ration with focus on developing muscle expression and bone structure to ensure soundness and longevity. Our fall bulls are developed a little slower on pasture during the summer month to ensure sound breeders that last for years to come. We know there are plenty of places to buy bulls from, but our commitment to you is that we will work hard every day to improve our cattle and provide the upmost support for our customers in any way we can. What an amazing time to be in the cattle business! Sale records have been broken repeatedly and the prediction is that we haven’t seen the top yet.
