Value Based Genetics is a group of simmental genetic producers that have the same goals and commitment to producing superior seed-stock. Started by Jeff Springer of Springer Simmentals, there are forty five years of stringent selection and balancing genetics to improve your bottom line. With Stevens Cattle Company and S & J Farms added to the group the genetic pool was expanded making for even tougher criteria for bulls to make it to a sale. All bulls are fed rations developed by JR Distributing of Lake Norden SD. This is a program of low energy and high forage and it fits our bulls well as they thrive on forage. We like bulls that look, act and work the way herd bulls should. Powerful, wide topped, big boned and deep ribbed structures that will add thickness and pounds to your calves.
