See Dates Above Thurs. 5:30-8:30 PM $50/$60 per clinic Day Time JULY 23 - COMPETITION NIGHT: Learn how advanced players and pros properly warm up, with routines designed for both 5-minute and 10-minute pre-match preparation. Then, put your skills to the test by playing with different partners while your individual points are tracked throughout the evening. JULY 30 - SPIN AND HOW TO HANDLE THE SPIN: Learn how to spin the ball in all four directions and a combination of directions. You will learn this starting with the serve and return, then we will progress to mid-court and kitchen. AUGUST 6 - HIGH LEVEL ATTACKING: Learn advanced fundamentals for driving from all locations on the court, both ground strokes and volleys on both forehand and backhand. AUGUST 13 - ADVANCED ROUND ROBIN TOURNAMENT: Sign up solo or with a partner. We will tally all of your matches, tournament-style with W/L record, point differential, etc. to see who comes out on top. Medals awarded. Session Length: One Day Location: Beachwood Pickleball Courts JUNE 25 - HOW TO TURN YOUR 3RD/5TH SHOT INTO A GAME-WINNING WEAPON: Advanced Drills LOADED with Tactical GOODIES! Too many points are lost in the transition zone that shouldn’t be! JULY 16 - HOW TO BEAT THE “BANGER” ADVANCED SETUP PLAYS: Attack and counter-attack! Be prepared to WORK HARD and bring EXTRA WATER. Thursday Night Intensive Pickle Clinics Instructor: Bill Tennant, PPR Certified Professional Each clinic is designed to be laser-focused on 1-2 areas for improvement. Each clinic’s focus is different; and will teach strategies and concepts through drills and implementation. Instructional clinics end at 7:30 PM. As part of your clinic, you will have a 1 hour block of guaranteed court time from 7:30-8:30 PM to apply your new skills with your fellow clinic participants. Pro Pickle-Bill will typically stay to play for a short period after the clinics as his schedule permits! NOTE: These clinics are NOT introductory, but designed for the regular pickleball player looking to advance their game to the next level. It is recommended that you are playing at a 3.8+ level for these clinics. Please contact our PPR-Pro Level Certified Instructor Bill Tennant to set up a fitting placement for either intensive pickle clinics or weekly instructional lessons at 216-324-4856 or billtennant365@gmail.com. All sessions will run rain or shine. Classes are limited to an 8:1 student to teacher ratio. JUNE 4 - ADVANCED KITCHEN PLAY: Advanced strategies of speed ups and offensive dinking with control, direction, and purpose with both forehand and backhand with Red/Yellow/ Green Light decision making. JUNE 11 - MASTERING MULTIPLE TYPES OF SERVES & RETURNS: Master the two most important shots in pickleball: the serve and return. Learn to vary pace, spin, and placement so you become more versatile and effective at the start of every point. Fun, competitive drills will build your skills. Instruction ends at 7:30 PM. One hour of court time to practice after.

Pickleball Tournament Beachwood Historical Society This doubles tournament will feature Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed divisions, offering players of all skill levels the opportunity to compete and connect. Grab your partner, bring your game face, and enjoy an energetic atmosphere filled with community spirit and good sportsmanship. In the event of inclement weather, the rain date is July 12. Barre FX Instructor: Body Sculpting Staff Barre FX is a fun innovative way to work out. This Organized open play will return to the courts this summer on a regular schedule. Pickleball Organized Open Play Instructor: Beachwood Pickleball Monitors comprehensive total-body workout incorporates major muscle groups in a unique way that reshapes the whole body. These exercises challenge the body’s strength, endurance and increases overall fitness. Our fat burning format will lift your derriere, trim hips, tone legs, flatten abs, shape arms, and elongate the appearance of your body in record-breaking time. Barre FX also incorporates light dumbbells for a short segment of the workout as well as intense mat work. Appropriate for all fitness levels.
