The Canon Carver Society The Canon Carver Society was established in 2004 and named in honour of the man who was Master at the time of the founding of the new College in 1860. It exists to provide recognition and thanks to those who choose to leave a legacy to the College through a gift in their will. An annual lunch is held at the College, with the date of this year’s gathering set for Tuesday 8 October.
Since the formation of the Society nine years ago, more than £3.6 million in legacies has been donated to the College.
