OAs in Thailand The popularity of our quarterly OA reunions has grown over the past few months. We now regularly welcome OA friends from ‘far-away places with strange-sounding names’ (pace Bing Crosby) and our group is usually 15 to 20 diners.

Our year-end 2012 OA dinner, in ‘The Library’ of the Dusit Thani Hotel, was also a farewell to Alex Willats (83-91), the hotel’s General Manager. He is being transferred to the Manila Dusit. It will be difficult to find a new venue with the service level we have come to expect, but we will try. Mike Smith
