Our Secondary Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) programme is centred on supporting you to become a confident, reflective practitioner who is able to make informed decisions in the classroom. Throughout the programme, you will be encouraged to apply theory and research to your own practice and given opportunities to develop the subject, pedagogical and research knowledge that will enable you to become teachers who are able to respond purposefully to the needs of your pupils. You will be fully supported, in school placements and in university, throughout the programme to help you to reach your potential as a teacher.
