We are globally ranked in all subject areas in the 2022 QS World University Rankings by subject and have achieved the highest award (gold) for teaching excellence at UK universities through the Teaching Excellence Framework. We are a diverse and vibrant university; indeed, we were ranked 2nd in the UK for Diversity and Inclusion in the WhatUni Student Choice Awards 2021.
We also provide a collegiate, supportive space for postgraduate researchers to make ground-breaking discoveries; in the most recent Research Excellence Framework (2021), 91% of our research environment and 86% of our research impact was rated world-leading and internationally excellent. My first academic role was as a young lecturer at Swansea University, and I can personally vouch for the quality of the research-led education and the support that you will receive here.
