Congratulations to Michelle Barry & Adrienne Sterne who won the “ Supporting our People & Culture Award ” at the 2023 NSLHD Quality & Improvement Awards for the Kindness Kits Program. This award aims to acknowledge the strong safety culture that under- pins NSLHDs commitment to deliv- er safe, reliable person - centred care, underpinned by the CORE values of Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. NSLHD Acting Chief Executive Mark Zacka said the awards are a special event to celebrate staff who make a real and positive difference to the lives of our patients, consum- ers, and their families and carers. Award ceremony was held at RNS.

Thank you to everyone involved in the recent launch of the NSLHD Nursing and Midwifery Em- ployee Value Proposition (EVP). The EVP tells prospective and existing employees what they can expect as part of our workplace culture. Following input from consultation sessions NSLHD has created an employer brand to communicate our culture to generate enthusiasm for the work our people do each day and attract talented peo- ple to come and join our team.
